Where Do They Fit In?

Do you have a place where you belong?  A place where you feel totally safe, respected, and loved?

For me, it was my high school group of friends (and still is, even though we’re scattered across the country and have very different lives) – wherever, doing whatever, and whenever.  It doesn’t matter how often we talk or see each other or how long the interaction is.  I know they have my back, and they know I have theirs.

In a world that is increasingly disconnected and lonely, how can we build that sense of belonging for every person?  What can you do to make your workplace a better community for your employees?  How can you make your leadership team a place where each member feels important, contributing, and cared for?  Are the actions different for the C-suite executives and the front-line workers?  Why?
